Senator Biden said a President Obama would be tested by the world to find out if he has the mettle to respond.

Speaking in Seattle on Sunday, Biden said he could guarantee that the world will want to find out if Obama is up to the job, which he assured voters he is.

“Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking,” Biden said. Source

It is a good time to have a week’s worth of flashlights, batteries, drinkable water and food on hand. Paranoid? Maybe.

I surmise that if there will be an attack on the US Homeland it will be after the election if Obama is elected, during the last days of the Bush Administration. Let’s face it, George Bush is not on Al Qaeda’s top 10 guests to invite to a party list. They attacked us and GW has made them wish they never heard his name. So I can imagine them wanting to pay back President Bush.

The cave dwellers want Obama to be President. His anti-war rhetoric, liberal views and inexperience probably lead Al Qaeda’s leadership to think he would invite them to tea before responding militarily to an attack. Plus, an attack on the homeland before the election would all but guarantee a McCain win, so they would wait.

It would be their parting shot at President Bush at a time when most of his advisors and appointees would be packing their cubicles to leave Washington, and Obama’s administration would not yet be in place. A response by Bush would be all but impossible, and Obama would not yet be President. The US would be caught flat footed and the already shaky financial markets would be sent into a tailspin.

Senator Biden said a President Obama would be tested. Let’s not find out if he was right.

10/24/08 Update: No signs of Al Qaeda election threat - U.S.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Al Qaeda has shown no signs it plans to attack the United States during the presidential election, but the government must keep guard during the 2-1/2-month transition to a new president, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said on Thursday.

“I have not seen evidence that a major element of al Qaeda’s planning is our anniversaries or our elections,” Chertoff   more

An Army of Joes

Posted by: Pagan Power | Comments (0)

A refreshing trend is becoming fashionable all over the country. Ordinary working class Americans are standing up and speaking out in response to the savage attacks against Joe the Plumber. In Joe they see themselves. Someone just trying to live the American dream. Families only trying to better their lives and leave behind a more prosperous future for their children.

To them Joe is a hero. Not because he is a plumber and a single father, but because he had the audacity to question The One about his tax plan. And after he received the response he had his personal life exposed and demeaned not only by the complicit Obamedia, but by the Democratic presidential candidates themselves. Ordinary Americans are fighting back.

They are mad as hell and they aren’t going to take it any more.

Those were the words Sarah spoke today in West Chester, Ohio, my home town. I’m just now home from her rally and it was exceptional. On a cold and overcast day it was no accident that as soon as Sarah stepped on stage the sun came out, shining upon her as she shined on us.

For those of you that haven’t been to a Sarah Palin event you have missed something very special. When she speaks, you know that she is a politician but more importantly you know that she is a politician that hasn’t forgotten where she came from.

Mainly because she never left.

Obama raised $1 million for foreign thug’s election

Sen. Barack Obama, with a donation of nearly $1 million, and a son of Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi were among the biggest contributors to the presidential campaign of controversial Kenyan leader Raila Odinga, according to an internal document obtained by WND. The memo was prepared by the head of Odinga’s campaign finance accounting section, Shakeel Shabbir, as an official report delivered to the national treasurer for Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement party, or ODM. Among the 72 individuals and organizations that contributed money to Odinga’s 2007 presidential run in Kenya, Shabbir lists “Friends of Senator B.O.” as having donated 66,000,000 Kenyan schillings, about $950,000.

Saif el-Islam Gadhafi, the Libyan strongman’s second oldest son, reportedly donated 53,450,000 Kenyan schillings, about $765,000. According to several highly credible ex-ODM sources WND interviewed in Kenya, the $950,000 raised for Odinga’s campaign came from a series of private meetings arranged for Odinga by Mark Lippert, a foreign policy adviser in Obama’s U.S. Senate office. The meetings with top-dollar Obama fundraisers and donors took place during Odinga’s 2006 trip to the U.S.

We trip over them on the sidewalk every day. We curse, hand them a dollar, or don’t. We feel pity, guilt and rage at their presence. The city spends $200 million a year trying to get homeless people off the streets and into a better way of life - but over 20 years, the problem has only gotten worse.

The more able of the homeless find their way into shelters, counseling and housing programs. But the most chronically indigent, called the hard core, steadfastly refuse most help and stay outside. These 3,000 to 5,000 homeless at the very bottom are the most visible, and they give the city its dubious distinction of having what many call the worst homeless problem in the country. SF Chronicle

Dianne Feinstein is stupid rich. According to opensecrets.org her net worth is somewhere between $52,344,301 and $115,998,023. That’s nearly $116 MILLION Dollars! She ranks 6th among all members of the Senate.

While Dianne sleeps snugly in her comfortable mansion San Francisco’s homeless trudge hopelessly through the streets, pushing shopping carts, eating from dumpsters, or if lucky, getting relief from one of the city’s homeless shelters.

Maybe she doesn’t give to charity, maybe she does, but how much money does a person need? The government should take some of Dianne Feinstein’s considerable wealth and use to to fund relief for the city’s homeless. It’s a matter of fairness.
