4th Senate District Race Update / Prop 8 Update

Ahhhh yes, the fur is flying and the No on 8 crowd have finally showed their agenda. Some of the highest-rated posts on Right On Daily have come courtesy of our coverage of the absurdity of the Prop 8 trial.

The No on 8 crowd are actually arguing that Prop 8 should be voided because they argue that yes on 8 was motivated by religious animus. One witness, Gary Segura, a Stanford University political science professor with expertise in the area of the political power of minorities including homosexuals, summed it up when he said “religion is the chief obstacle for gays’ and lesbians’ political progress.”

So there you have it – out in the open. The group screaming the loudest for tolerance wants tolerance at the expense of religious freedom.

They are also arguing that Homosexuals are an oppressed minority – or something similar. Did anyone look and see that there are at least ten homosexuals in the state legislature as well as the speaker of the Assembly. Not bad for a group representing about 2% of the population. Read this post for more on the Biased Media Coverage of the Prop 8 Trial.

Now – let’s say you’re running for State Senate. You are racking up the same endorsement list as someone who ran for Congress, spent $8 Million and lost. But, now – people are bailing off of that endorsement list for nothing other than a validation of your opponent’s message.

You would be Doug LaMalfa. Your opponent who is digging in to your base of support would be Rick Keene.

The Sheriff of Del Norte County bailed on LaMalfa.

The Mayor of the largest city in the district (Redding) bailed on LaMalfa.

And the grass roots, “Keene has previously been endorsed by YRFC Chapters in Butte, Yuba, Sutter Counties as well as the state YRFC.” (quoting a Keene press release when he announced the Nevada County YRFC endorsement)

Doug LaMalfa is in trouble and February hasn’t even started yet.

Placer County Republican Party Under Fire by Sacramento Bee… (Breaking) Roger Niello the Choice of Big Labor

The Bee is depressed. John Doolittle isn’t around anymore to hate. Tom McClintock is regaining his rock star status in the GOP.

All that’s left is to attack those Right-Wing nutcases in the Placer County Republican Central Committee. Yours truly has a few things to say about that…

Sacramento Bee Rampage Post

Periodically, I will visit the National Republicrat Blog and give the readers a sampling of stories I have been working on.

I was informed recently that Roger Niello got some curiously timed Political Contributions. Those of you that remember Roger Niello as one of the three Republicans in the Assembly that joined the Democrats in foisting the largest tax increase in state history will not be surpised…

… that Roger Niello’s campaign finance report from right after that fateful February 2009 vote is full of contributions from Labor Unions.

I am glad to be a part of the National Republicrat blogging team – but I am far from a Republicrat… I am proud to say that voting for John McCain made me ill.

Things to look forward to -

Exposing the fraud that is Meg Whitman.
Introducing State Poizner as the Republican choice for Governor. Introducing you to Sam Aanestad for Lt. Governor.
Full coverage of North State races and politics – including the 2010 Rick Keene vs Doug La Malfa primary battle that will be epic – but could get drowned out in the deluge that will be the governor’s race.

Hunting RINO’s and Liberals (is there a difference?) gratuitiously.

You’ve been warned – Happy New Year.

Introducing the Flame-Thrower…

SactoDan and Yolo Cowboy remember it well from out past days with the Western Alliance and my old Roseville Conservative Blog – the Roseville Conservative Blog has now been taken over by left-wing Sierra College types… but I live on Blogging on Placer County Republican Assembly, and Red County.

I am a 100% declared supporter of Rick Keene for State Senate. Recently, the Redding Record Searchlight has been all over DougLaMalfa’s Consultant/former cheif of staff David Reade… You see, former State Assemblymembers Rick Keene and Doug LaMalfa are about to lock horns in a primary battle that will rival that of McClintock vs. Ose. (Ose spent 6.2 million and still lost)

Of course, as a natural customer service, I have highlighted the behavior of Jim Nielsen (LaMalfa’s successor in the Assembly), Doug LaMalfa and of course…David Reade.

In addition – I have recently started in on the State Budget. One of our Local Assemblymembers, Roger Niello provided a key and critical vote allowing the largest tax increase in State history.

Also – I get good scoops on local politics that I intend to share with this audience.

Finally, the 2010 CA Governor race is heating up and I am on board with Steve Poizner – I have already had some choice words for Meg Whitman.

Fasten your seat belts as I catch you up to speed and get you rolling forward with the flame-throwing commentary I am known for. (duck)

CA-19 Update: Look at All the Union Money to Jeff Denham!

May 26, 2010

Jeff Denham is a Fraud. Looks Pretty on the Outside until you unwrap the package and what’s inside… oh mama.
As a State Senator he voted for some awful legislation and was basically the twin of uber-liberal “Republican” Abel Maldonado.
What was Denham’s motivation to be that way?

Tom “Thomas The Tax Engine” Campbell – the Subject of “Analysis” for his lack of Advertising

May 17, 2010

Now – did you see the monstrous, fiscally un-conservative mailer from  Thomas the Tax Engine? So did I, it was cat-pan liner. I cut and pasted some analysis from Team Carly as to why our favorite Marxist Republican is not on the air – anywhere.

Happy Monday -
