Obama’s Consolation Prize, The Nobel Peace Prize- Huh?
If you would say Copenhagen was not kind to Obama, you might also say Oslo made up the difference.
Amid “gasps of astonishment from journalists” President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize Friday.
OSLO (Reuters) – U.S. President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for giving the world “hope for a better future” and striving for nuclear disarmament, in a surprise award that drew both warm praise and sharp criticism.
The decision to bestow one of the world’s top accolades on a president less than nine months into his first term, who has yet to score a major foreign policy success, was greeted with gasps of astonishment from journalists at the announcement in Oslo. -source Reuters
As Americans are beginning to notice their new President is long on speeches and public appearances and short on substance, many will wonder what the heck it was for.

How gross is all of this. Nobel now gives prizes for doing nothing. They even nominated him only 12 days into the presidency. Can you hear the slurping……. Obama has now brought down America and he has taken the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize with him.
This is nauseating! Obama made the statement ” I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many transformative figures that have been honored by this prize.”
Then why did you accept it? Oh, wait, here is why, “I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations to confront the challenges of the 21st century.”
Hmm, let’s see, Obama, Gore, and Carter have all won this prize. I am seeing a pattern forming here…
