Yep! We’re Racists.

September 20, 2008 2008 Presidential Campaign, Blogs, Latest News, Political 2 Comments

The latest AllBarack-Loco (cleverly disguised as AP-Yahoo) poll has concluded that the reason many “white” voters don’t support Obarky for President is because he is black. Using an online poll, that they say tends to make people more comfortable expressing their honest feelings (are you laughing yet?), the results of their scam poll verifies scientifically that those of us not on the Obama wagon (or is that the Magic Bus to Nowhere) have decided not to take that ride because we are prejudiced. Seriously.

Here is just one example of how they made that determination.

How AP-Yahoo News poll on race was designed

The poll also used a technique aimed at measuring what psychologists call “affect misattribution.” This involved showing faces of people of different races quickly on a screen before displaying a neutral image that people were asked to rate as pleasant or unpleasant. Studies have shown that people consciously or unconsciously transfer their feelings about the photograph to the object they are rating.

Faces of people of different races. Hmmm…. I wonder what kind of pictures they used. What expressions were on the faces? It sure seems that would be a contributing factor as to someone’s reaction. And what the hell is a neutral image? A gray person? A crack house?

But this isn’t the best part. They then stir a bit of mumbo-jumbo into their pot of spoiled porridge by attributing the unscientific guesses results of their first study with answers given by the participants based on the actual issues of the campaign.

In addition, random groups of subjects were presented lists with varying numbers of subjects, such as increased federal gasoline taxes, corporations polluting the environment and a black president. They were then asked how many of those items – not which ones – were upsetting. By comparing each group’s answers, researchers were able to estimate how many people were upset by the items relating to blacks.

Items relating to blacks. What the hell does that mean? I read over the whole survey and didn’t really see anything in particular that asked about separating the issues by black or white. It seems to me that all of these issues affect ALL Americans, regardless of their race.

But facts apparently mean nothing to the folks that created this scam poll. They have made their minds up based upon mathematical formulas.

The researchers compared the subjects’ ages, party identification, perceptions of Obama and McCain, and other factors to their racial attitudes. This allowed them to create mathematical formulas predicting the likelihood that people would vote for either Obama or McCain, based on their different characteristics and attitudes. The models allowed them to estimate how much impact each factor has on each candidate’s support, controlling for other factors.

By using their formulas, the researchers were able to conclude that race was a factor in how people vote, independent of their other political views and their demographic characteristics. They then used the formulas to predict how much support Obama is losing because of his race.

They were able to conclude. Has a nice ring to it. In other words, this is what they think and it is presented as if it were a scientific conclusion. Hack science at it’s worst.

There are only two items in this obviously biased hit job poll from which the race factor might have been concluded. If you were looking through black and white eyeglasses that is. The majority of the respondents identified as white (69%). And when asked if they feared for the safety of Barack Obama’s life, 60% of them said no.

So if you aren’t afraid that someone is going to hurt or kill Obarky then I suppose that means you are a racist.

Just for laughs here is a link to the full published poll.

Obarky’s Surrogate So-Called Scientific Scam

Most people are creatures of habit. And they have a tendency to believe some things that aren’t true if they are barraged with enough constant blatant lies information telling them it is the truth. All despots understand how this works to their advantage.

History is fraught with countless examples of terrible things done because otherwise good people believed in the propaganda they were continually fed. If you have watched enough political commercials you might easily believe that John McCain is George Bush in an older body and white hair. But the truth is that he isn’t.

Perhaps this is the HOPE Obarky has been talking about all along. He is hoping people buy into this ridiculous bullshit presented as fact and support him so they aren’t labeled racists.

Screw that.

I ROAR: NObama! NO DEAL!

Amazing how any one can infer from such unscientific studies how someone may or may not be racist. Isn’t this profiling? Do these studies really say that they can reliably predict what a person thanks or will be prone to do depending on certain responses to certain stimuli at a certain period of time? Who knows, the subject may be hungry, tired, or he may have had a good day, etc. Anyway I agree that McCain is not Bush. They are not perfect, and they are quite differenty from each other. Obama is in an entirely different category—- a self styled puppet Messiah. God save us from him.

We know the “Conservatives” at Meg County were purchased.
